It’s good that our government is finding out how to solve our increasing demands for energy, only that it should not be a cause for food shortage in the country. I would support for national land use policies for proper allocation of our lands. How about Real Estate Developers, aren’t they using too much of our raw lands?

I personally think that the governments needs to allocate which lands are to be cultivated for food and for energy. With the recent rice crisis in memory (when rice prices hit as high as 50 pesos per kilo), it wouldn't be wise for our farmers to concentrate on producing what I call as "energy crops." The wider public, those in the C-D-E classes, will definitely suffer from it in the long run.

This is a good news for me. Our government should focus on this kind of problem rather than arguing on some petty matters. It's time for them to move and help uplift the country from poverty.
